ABOUT: Echo Park / Point is the main tourist centre of the Blue Mountains and as such one has to be aware of the crowds at certain times and the fact that it has been photographed millions of times. That said very early or late and you can have the place to yourself when stunning sunrises, sunsets and changeable weather provides endless photo opps. The three sisters view or the wider Jamison panorama are always worth the early or late effort.
PHOTO EQUIPMENT TO BRING: The sisters view can be done on a 35mm lens but bring a full range of lenses & try something different. There are lower viewpoints plus ones just behind the platforms that offer some interesting foreground. Tripods of course for golden hours.
GETTING TO THE SPOT/S: Lots of paid parking near the park, or free just down the road a little towards Leura and a 5 minute walk back.
