ABOUT: This lookout is surround on both sides by trees but does offer a unique view of Mount Solitary with the ‘sisters’ ridge on the right and tableland stretching out on the left. It is great early mornings with mist when Mount Solitary rises in the distance so worth going if you see mist from easier vantage points.
PHOTO EQUIPMENT TO BRING: A simple wide 24 or 35mm would do to capture the scene and light contrasts will necessitate a tripod of course.
GETTING TO THE SPOT/S: This lookout is one of the first on the Prince Henry Walk which you can access from Echo Park – walk towards the sisters bridge area and it is a signposted walk up some steps on the left before you get to the steep steps down onto the sisters. About 10mins to the trail and another 5 to this lookout.
