Living in the Blue Mountains affords me access to some wonderful birds, and living on the escarpment in Mount Victoria, I do not have to travel far to see them. These images try to capture the character of the local bird life. In all seasons and conditions, snow, autumn, hot, cold the birds up here are a permanent feature of life in the mountains.
Please note the website images below are all low resolution 1080px wide images, the print ready originals are between 7000-10000px wide and are all very high quality (but if you order a large print then you will be contacted if Gary feels it may not be suitable and of course full refund).
Hello Gary, wonderful pictures of exotic birds! As my sister is fond of wild birds, I’d like your opinion about what camera she could use as an amateur who wants affordable quality. Thank you!
Beautiful. We have a 7 year old grandson who is so keen on birds. I will show all these birds. Just love your work.
Gary, I’ve been on your site here for at least ten minutes. I’m a mountains resident and i want to buy the BirdLife “Christmas decorations” print. I seem to be in a gallery loop with to opportunity to actually BUY. I would suggest you might have some lost sales opportunities. Hope this is constructive feedback for you.
Yes – unfortunately for me my payment gateway provider PayPal decided to do some major updates in the last few hours and meant mine and many thousand other sites payments were offline for several hours “… PayPal SFTP reports is scheduled to migrate to a Cloud environment on June 11, 2021, at which time the IP addresses associated with these domains will change” – still I got many print orders through regardless … you can always request a print based on the price list via email …
Oh and just checked it is working fine now after their update – just make sure you fill in the postal details on the form before clicking the PayPal button (which allows you to use credit card too) – Cheers
Stunning bird photography. The king parrots in the snow today in just stunning. We have glorious bird life in Australia. So fortunate. Thank you. Your work is beautiful.
We are indeed Meg – appreciate you looking!
Incredible photos Gary. I felt I could touch the birds and actually feel their feathers if I touched the screen.
Thanks v much Beth!
