ABOUT: Nellies Glen is a deep, wonderful vertical descent at the start of the 40km Six Foot Track. Walking down and back out can be done in an intensive 2 hours & good shots of small waterfalls, vertical steps & ferns & occasional ridges overhanging. Fitness must be high for the ascent.

PHOTO EQUIPMENT TO BRING: A good wide angle and macro are best to capture the range on offer, but given it can be quite dark even midday a tripod to capture the deep red & green colours.

GETTING TO THE SPOT/S: Park at the main Six Foot Trail carpark and follow the signs. A short diversion in or out is to Norths Lookout (through the metal gate just before the track turns to the right and descends rapidly).
